Sophie Knock and Nicki Greenheart have made over 70 Flower Essences ~ the Essence of Avalon range ~ during nearly 20 years of exploring, learning and deepening their relationship with the Plants and Trees of Glastonbury.
We began on the Full Moon in April 2003 and went on to make Essences in Iona In 2006; Glastonbury and the Sacred Isle of Iona have long been linked in ancient mythology. In 2007 we made new Essences at the beautiful Boscawen-un stone circle in Penwith Cornwall. In 2008 we made an Essence in the beautiful Wistman's Wood on Dartmoor. In 2010-2011 We co-created, along with Casey Jon and Bahli Mans-Morris the Glastonbury Zodiac Range and in 2013 The Sacred Tree range was completed
Sophie Knock ~ I've always had a deep connection and love of Nature. I’m a Natural Health Care Practitioner, a fully qualified and registered Homeopath and a Flower Essence Producer and Practitioner. I'm a Tutor member of the British Flower and Vibrational Essence Association and a tutor on the Chalice Well Flower Essence Practitioner Training. I've also been very blessed to have been a Trustee of Chalice Well in Glastonbury – one of the oldest, active healing wells in the country and I'm privileged to be part of the core team for Chalice Well Essences. I am mother to four boys and qualified in Vibrational Medicine, Aquarian Healing, Dowsing, Holistic Massage, Reflexology, Reiki and Homeopathy. I live and work in Glastonbury, where I have a thriving Naturopathic practise which incorporates all my passions of natural healing with herbs, flower essences, homeopathy and bioresonance called The Holistic Homeopath: https://www.holistichomeopath.co.uk.
I feel privileged to work with the Plant Spirits who have gifted their Loving energy to Wild Medicine Flower Essences. And I will always be grateful for the precious meeting that Sophie and I experienced when we set out at dawn and began our journey with the Devas of the Wild Places. Together we have co-created Wild Flower, Sacred Tree and Zodiac Essences, and our beautiful Combination Essences and Aura Sprays.
I love working with the Spirit Medicine of the Plants and the Earth, learning and sharing their messages and gifts to us. They are family to me, brimming with honesty, occasionally blunt and often hilarious. Always such deep Love and Wisdom, asking for nothing in return but Love and Respect for the Earth.
I have also trained as a TTouch practitioner, this is a gentle and therapeutic form of bodywork for animals, a Feng Shui consultant re-balancing the energy of homes and gardens, and a Reiki practitioner. After many years living in Avalon, I now live in Hay on Wye in the Black Mountains. I continue to make Flower Essences, and also enjoy working with Wild Plants and Herbs in their more physical form, with their amazing seasonal abundance and generosity…
